Taking the next step: I am putting together a new focus to try and share ways that have helped me to be successful. You will find many resources throughout the web site and we always welcome any questions or your input. I am reading a book right now that you may want to take a look at. This book by Author, Michael Port "Book Yourself Solid," and his newest book "Beyond Book Yourself Solid." I think it would be worth your time to take a look at at either of these books there is some very good advice...and "Beyond "Book Yourself Solid" I have not read yet but New York has dubbed him the guru of Marketing. If you want to get ahead in what ever you want out of life one of the principal key is to read. Buy books, go to the library and if you find an interest that you want to pursue you can gain most of the knowledge in the library, another great source is community Collage. There are several online assets and my favorite is LVS Online Classes, an additional would be Lynda.com. I was doing a great job but something came along that changed my life forever, a writer named Napoleon Hill. His life's work lifted me out of the mediocrity, out of the Conundrum holding me to the ground when I wanted to stretch to the stars and beyond. I needed a mentor. After I had read Master Key to Riches, several times the answer finally appeared and I was moving forward again.
I worked for Pepsi Corporation for 17 years in sales and management. Then an opportunity came along to be an Account Executive for Hart-Hanks in southern California creating ads for company's small and large. I would set up appointments with the advertising manager and find out the amount they had to spend on advertising, and gather information and with them put together a stratagem to move forward. Needless to say I gained a lot of knowledge, and experience working with people, and the value of helping customers find the right medium to advertise and market there company.
I have over 25 years in advertising, sales, marketing, design, and consulting with great personal and business success. The Design Factory is constantly learning, deploying new skills, and offering new solutions. Our commitment to our clients drives our success. This was updated: January 14, 2009
